A highly respected and beloved figure within the Union, many of our members will be keenly aware of the enormous contribution she made to our movement. Her achievements and contribution to SNU Spiritualism were legion, varied and long-standing. She served as President of both Westbury Park Spiritualist Church, her own church, and the South Western District Council as a whole. She sat as a member of the National Council, as Chairman of the Fund of Benevolence, and as the SNU’s National Almoner. A kind, inspiring and encouraging soul, she was a font of positivity and teaching, in particular of the unifying, universal power of healing. We are certain that you will all join us in sending our sincerest condolences to Marian’s family and loved ones at this sad time, but also take comfort in knowing that she has only left this life for the one that awaits us all beyond, and will doubtless continue to inspire and communicate with her warmth and wisdom for many years to come.
